21 Rowell Avenue

Utilities

Tenants are responsible for arranging connection and disconnection of electricity and telecommunications services as required, as well as as all associated, usage and service costs for these utilities.

Gas is not available at the premises.

Electricity

You as a tenant are responsible for arranging connection to any electricity retailer of your choice. You will then receive electricity bills from your electricity retailer. (At the end of your tenancy, you should also contact your retailer to request disconnection of your service.)

Electricity retailers

There are several electricity retailers to choose from, including the following:

Power distribution area

21 Rowell Av is located within the CitiPower electricity distribution network. You can sign up to any retail electricity company that operates within the Melbourne CitiPower network. (CitiPower does not deal with customers directly.)

NBN connectivity

For NBN (broadband internet) services, connect to any NBN internet provider of your choice. Units 2 and 3 have multi-room ethernet; connect your broadband router (usually supplied by the internet provider) to the NBN installation located inside the unit. For other units connect the NBN utility box (not to be removed from premises once delivered) to one of the connection points inside the unit, then connect your router to that.

Water

Water is already connected at the premises. Water is not metered separately which means you are not required to pay water bills, and you do not need to deal with the local water authority.

Water main shutoff valve

In case of emergencies, water to the unit can be shut off by turning off the blue tap located outside the back door in the rear courtyard of the unit. (For unit 1, this is located outside the back garage door.)
